Wrist Check

Tudor Black Bay Heritage 41

Swapped out the bracelet for the OEM leather strap & deployant from Tudor for the upcoming warm weather. The leather strap is a bit stiff out of the box, and I can't wait to break it in and see how a patina develops on the beautiful color.

I've got to say, Tudor does a great job with their stainless steel moving parts. The leather isn't quite as comfortable as the bracelet (given the initial stiffness), but the deployant feels just as secure and the action is quite smooth.

You went steel to leather for warm weather? I do the opposite to guard against leather stink infection, and I check any leather I wear in summer frequently to make sure it is drying between wears.
By the way, how about tracking down some new leather strap makers for drops?

CloacaDefinitely working on more strap makers!
As for the steel -> leather, I personally dislike the feel of a bracelet (especially because I tend to like to wear my bracelets tight) in warm weather. I don't sweat all that much so I've never had a leather strap stink to high heaven, so I find it a bit more comfortable.
