I am a first-time quilter. My boyfriend got me lessons for Christmas and I am just finishing my VERY FIRST quilt. I am beyond excited and, more than that, beyond inspired by all of you.

To anyone who is reading this: if you have recommendations for a second quilt, bring 'em on. I am super excited about this and am delighted with how my first is turning out. Just finishing the binding right now!

If this is your 1st quilt and you're doing your own binding, you're off to a great start. It's lovely, by the way. Now it's time for triangles or find a 'Sampler' pattern. You'll love it. You'll be like the pros in no time.

Good for you! I'd recommend a Jelly Roll Race quilt! It's fun, fast and easy! Check out the Missouri Star Quilt Company tutorial on YouTube. It's a quick second quilt! There are lots of other tutorials so watch them and plan for third and fourth projects too! Good luck and keep learning!
