Works in Progress - Quilting

This is a quilt inspired by the bargello style that I am making for my daughter's Mechanical Engineering advisor. It is supposed to look like a graph that might show up in a research paper. Graduation is in June so I have to be finished by then!

It's just so beautiful. My husband past away halfway done. It is a bargello called Haleys comet. The pattern was in an Australian magazine. We quilt here at my shop and we found the perfect quilt pattern for it. Did you write the pattern for this

JenneyNot really. Didn't really use a pattern, just used the usual bargello design from a book as a base but thickened the layers (so I could use 2 1/2 inch strips that are so handy to use elsewhere) and widened a couple of the columns because my daughter wanted a smoother curve. It is also upside down from most bargello patterns, I think. Also, instead of repeating 10 or twelve fabrics three times or so, I used more than 40 different fabrics to get the look she wanted.
