On behalf of the Massdrop community that reside outside of the US, I challenge you to question Massdrop as to why they continue to make it unrealistic for many of us (outside of the US) to afford to purchase products like yours on this platform due to ridiculously inflated shipping pricing.
Many of us (global members) would love to get our hands on your product offerings available here, but with shipping regularly costing as much as, or often more than the item being purchased it sends the message that Massdrop is more concerned about making high profit margins than providing a competitive deal to its global community.
There are a large amount of global Massdrop members who feel alienated and blatantly ripped off by this practice and it also reflects poorly on associated brands like Sennheiser which has a long-standing reputation for quality, reliability and competitive pricing. I will never consider purchasing any of your products on this platform until Massdrop makes global shipping realistically affordable and I would like to see brands like Sennheiser challenging them to do so.
I can't speak for either of them, but I know to send my dead DAC/amp(around 10lbs, box no larger than some midtop shoes box) to china via UPS, Fedex, or even DHL would cost me over $100. When I tried to send it, I couldn't afford that, nor saw a point in spending almost half the cost of the product, so I used USPS for almost a fourth of the cost. The catch is, it never made it to it's destination, and took around 6 months to make it back. I was lucky that even happened as the return address had nearly been erased.
