The highest price that I have paid is close to $400 for a Konosuke HD2 10" chef knife. The most for a folder is a Benchmade Barrage in M390, $200. A sprint run Spyderco Manix 2 in S90V was close at about $175. I have trouble justifiying paying over $200 for a folder. I started collecting knives about 2 years ago. Like others, I had trouble paying over $30-40 per knife at first. Now that's cheap. I don't know if I have a grail, but if a Protech Les George Rockeye Auto in CPM-D2 or CPM-154 becomes available ($180-200) I won't be able to get the money out of my bank fast enuf. I would like to thank all those who chimed in on this. It was fun to read and the pictures were great. Looking at some of the prices folks were willing to pay, I don't feel so bad about the money I've dropped on knives.

ChickenLoverThank you for the link. It's beautiful. There are times that I feel I should be buying lottery tickets. Being that I am nearly the oldest in my family, I doubt that anyone's going to be dying and leaving me money. I suppose that I will be stuck waiting for the non-custom. It has been on the DELAYED BY MANUFACTURER list for months now.

ChickenLoverI have no doubts that I will. The only problem is that my grail is always changing. Perhaps if I could get my Holy Braille, I wouldn't be able to see all these wonderful knives and decide that THIS one is the Grail. (I been working on the Grail Road, all the live long day.......and night) . Thank you for the kind words.

Spyderco dragonfly 2 Drop exclusive?
I would LOVE to have a Spyderco dragonfly 2 Drop exclusive on one of the most iconic model in Spyderco. Maybe like the super gold steel that drop did with delica. The color on the scale can be the drop color. That will be awesome! Picture is me dragonfly collections in various color and steels

Hey everyone I hope your week is going well. I was wondering if anyone in the community has experience with Gerlach watches? I would love to see a few of their line show here on Drop some day. I know they wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea, but they are unique in that I don't believe I have seen any Polish made watches here before. Completely surprised by the lack of blade diversity here on Drop...
I’ve been a collector of Blades since before my teens, and a retailer coming up on 15… or maybe 20 years. Drop has really been kind of an interesting experience for me, because I do occasionally get to see some unusual tech and sometimes EDC items that otherwise I might not have been aware of. And maybe it’s because I have a deep love of cutlery and bladed weapons, but I find myself trolling through the site looking at it what’s available; and it’s just it’s pretty much the same. And the bladed community here is just always confused me.. every single knife is about the same, they’re almost all drop points and although the handle materials change and brands change.. it’s really just the same knife over and over and over again... occasionally you’ll see a tanto or a slight variant; but rarely… and almost never a serrated blade. And I’m just deeply amazed at this diversion of serrated blades. And I’m just surprised there isn’t more of a request for diversity here.... and I...

Would be nice to see some Sony E mount full frame cameras on here. I currently shoot with a A99 and they killed the lense path for better or more option lenses and now is all E-Mount. 🤔
