Do I Need to Lube My Keyboard Switches?
Figure 1: Sometime around here is a good time to ask that question... I don't totally understand the point of this site yet, but I see a huge communitie arround Mech Keyboard so I was wondering if you guys can help me on something :
I Actually have a Roccat Ryos MK pro, but after more than 1 year of life, leds are starting to die 1 by 1. This is a known probleme on the keyboard so I was wondering of changing to a new one, one that I could upgrade with time. But I have litteraly Zero experience in keyboard so I have a few questions :
--> If I change a Key on the keyboard, will it repare the led? or is it completely dead? (Like embeded in the chasis)
--> Is it possible to buy a Keyboard template and Cherry mx red/brown switch to put on it ? Like a totally DIY keyboard, (and put on it the Roccat's Keys that are still alive and good to use?)
I think that's all for the moment, thanks by advance !
