My main keyboard is the Novatouch TKL. I just love the topre switches and have it modified with double o-rings (down and upstroke), lubed stems and custom keycaps by WASD in Mac design. Also I changed the USB cable to a braided one in silver/black.
On my PC I use the WASD Code with MX Clears. I changed the caps to double shot PBT and installed O-rings.
Planned mods are changing the Novatouch to 55g and the Code will get a new coiled USB cable, lubed switches and stiffer springs on some keys.

derpinguinWhat kind of switches does it use? Advertising has the stems as Cherry MX compatible but using the Topre capacitive style switches. Do they have some kind of stem adapter?

siphayneNo, Coolermaster made different stems which are Topre but with an MX mount. No adapter needed.
They also fit in original Topre keyboards like the HHKB, so it is a pretty good modding opportunity for HHKB or Realforce users who want MX keycaps.

siphayneSure. Only problem is, that the Novatouch is out of production, so it could be quite hard to find the stems or a complete keyboard.

siphayneYeah, I also would love to build one. I wanted a MiniVan, but the pricing got a bit out of hand and I don't like the nickel case.

derpinguinI was thinking full custom. PCB less. The only big concern would be machining the case.

derpinguinYou should wait for the next planck drop (which will most likely happen early next year) I love my planck to death and building your own board may seem daunting but it's a breeze :D

I bought this for alt high profile v1 and setup screw-in stabilizer but stabilizer for enter key is interfered by top case and I wasn't able assemble it.
So I used plate mount stabilizer for enter key.
If I want to use screw-in stabilizer then I have to cut horizontal bump that looks like strut bar.
Do you have plan to sell improved one, pcb or case?

How do you do per-key RGB lighting on a Shift V2?
I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".
