Citizen Nighthawk

This watch has really grown on me. I was worried about the size and the dial being too busy, but I acclimated to it quickly. I am now beginning to understand how people fall in love with the iconic Navitimer, which I always thought had way too much going on.

I have also been watch Seinfeld's "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" lately and he often sports a Navitimer.

Seiko has some nice, affordable Navitimer homages that I had my eyes on. That is, until I bought an inexpensive Seiko quartz chronograph/perpetual and realized my eyes were too old to see anything on those watch faces when they aren't enlarged in product shots. Also, setting the time is a hassle--day and date is my limit. And dead, atrophied chronograph "not a second hand" hands bug me.
I decided I'm a three hand guy, day and date acceptable, not necessary. Maybe GMT. But at this point I'm starting to look at einzeigers. My prediction is that within a decade I'll be wearing one of those opaque crystal performance art "watches."
CloacaAh yes, the Schrödinger watch.

For a Citizen, that's pretty tame.

CloacaHaha, you are correct. Some of their perpetual calendars get busy, as well (and much larger, usually around 46mm I think).

I have a thin wrist, that's a shame because I love this watch.
johnpalacioMy wrists aren't all that big - 7 inches. The 47 mm lug to lug makes it more manageable than a lot of larger tool watches out there.

Vintage1982BenzThis is indeed a stunning watch but I've always been put off by its size. I don't think it will fit my 6 to 6.5 inch wrist
