All you need is a Tripp lite ISOBAR Ultra; 4 outlets for less than $40.
Even that is probably overkill, a couple of Ferrite Core clamp-on beads will probably be all you can actually HEAR, and that's only if you're actually getting audible EMF hum or interference.
ohsigmachiCan personally attest to the ISOBAR's... used a power regulator/filter/battery backup for many years along with some panamax conditioners and honestly there isn't much difference having switched to the tripp lite power strips. I don't use a projector/projection TV as my primary viewing source anymore and the battery went to shit so tried a cheaper option. If I were running a dedicated 20A line I might want more current delivery but the 2+ kilowatts (RMS) split over two different strips doesn't feel too constrained.

ohsigmachioh yea. I was looking at the Tripp lite ISOBAR too. But I heard stuff like the ISOBAR or even some other high end power strips can take something away from the system. I actually experienced this when I used one, it was not inexpensive and it made my system bright as hell. The transformer inside the TORUS and other stuff that is going on in there... which I do not fully understand... supposedly take less from the actual sound. And yea.... Torus seemed like it was affecting the system for the better to my ears. This is what I heard. What do you think about this?

ElectronicVicesI think I used panamax conditioners before too... I dont recall exactly but I think this was the one that caused (at least) my system to sound bright

SOULSIKConsidering that Toroidal chokes, ferrite core filters and the ISOBAR (to a lesser extent) attenuate the higher frequencies, of the EMF it is kind of antithetical that your use of them made your system brighter. All I can tell you is that if you weren't hearing AUDIBLE interference before, you likely gained little to no effect by applying any kind of choke or filter. As mentioned elsewhere, my wife was getting EMF ( a radio broadcast) on her Swan 2.1 speaker system and with some ferrite core filters and an interconnect with high quality shielding it was abated. I was getting a hum on my headphone amp when the refrigerator compressor would kick on, the ISOBAR power strip completely eliminated that with no audible effect to the brightness of my system.
ohsigmachiAgreed I hear the abatement of noise (blacker background/removed hum when certain devices are on) as about the only change with any power gear I've tried. The nicer stuff does it a shade better than the cheaper stuff but I'm not a classical listener exploring the depths of my noise floor so cheap works at the moment.

ohsigmachiI see ! sounds like you got rid of your problems then ! thanks for your input. Will certainly try that in my system !
