Post Your Headphones and a Vinyl

Have you ever found your setup seems to be the magical pairing for some of your favorite musicians and albums? Do you also have a vinyl of that album? This thread is for you, then!
Bonus
Post a photo of a ticket stub with the vinyl!

Anyone who's followed me throughout my time at Massdrop knows that I love the Audio-Technica AD2000's (and Audio-Technica in general). They're notably excellent with presenting female vocals and Kate Bush is one of the most amazing vocalists to have lived; it's a perfect pairing! I was also lucky enough to attend one of her live shows in London—her first in 35 years!
I must say, in all honestly, that I don't spend much time listening to my vinyl with headphones. Maybe that's something to get into in the future.

I can see you said it in jest, over and over again, but omg stop saying a vinyl or vinyls. The young’ns look to you for how to behave! Even if you’re joking, some percentage of them will run around saying it. It grates on my ears like a bumpkin relative saying, “It was a nice jester of you to invite me.” You still love em, cause family, but dang son...
Spinning this for just the 2nd time. I was scanning a record store in Edmonton when I found this, in very good condition. The closing number "Matilda" is kind of a highlight. I got the SL-1700MK2 with EPC-205CMK3 cartridge and original stylus for 50 CAD (!) at a garage sale. A steal I should say. To complete my setup I have the Pro-Ject Tube Box S phono amp with NOS Telefunken 12AX7's, the LD MKIII headphone amp with Mullard M8100 driver and Sovtek 6H30PI-EB power tubes, and the classic Sennheiser HD 600 headphones. My setup is modest but sounds very good and enjoyable. Cheers!

Sure are! They have done well over 10 years. Great detail and soundstage for the right music, but they are not "rockers".

Last album from Riverside is awesome ! Plus Focal Elear modified with Dekoni lambskin fenestrated and Cardas clear light cable. The stand is the gorgeous Room’s design FS stand in Zebrano color. Ticket stub for their next gig in Quebec city in may 2019. Can’t wait to see them live for the first time !

Nice shot. You got it all in. What kind of record weight is that?
rnight
Thanks! I got the Record Weight near me at Turntable Lab in NY’s East Village. Don’t know the brand. It is also a a level. It has enough heft to be a weight, but it’s mostly for looks.
I'm listening to a very early pressing of Guns n' Roses' Apetite For Destruction (with the banned 'rape' cover) through some Stax SR-30 headphones, via a Stax SRD-4 connected with my Yamaha MX-1000. I'm using a Technics SL-1400 turntable with a Shure V15 Type III cardridge. I much prefer to use those massive Acoustat Spectra 1100 electrostatic hybrid speakers over any of my headphones though.

One of my favorite colored records in my collection. Playing on an AT-LP120 through some old ass JVC phono stereo and out to my 660s. And I would add my ticket from the Tobacco show I went to, but I think I just got a stamp at the door haha

I'm not too sure how I feel about my 4XX. Everyone praises them but I don't hear it. I'm thinking I would need to upgrade my amp/dac here on Massdrop.
Megazine
I've been using the Topping A30 and Massdrop x Alex Cavalli Tube Hybrid Amp.......I like the bass...not overwhelming but just right, especially the mid-bass. I should get rid of most of these headphones and just keep the Elex. Seems they are all very similar. Plus, I just ordered the massdrop CustomArt CIEM's.

Ps. My desk is a big mess now, so I took this pic on my bed.
I definitely need to listen to my vinyl more with heapdphones on. But I must say that the detail of the BD DT990s combined with all the subtleties of Sohn - Tremors is a wonderful pairing!
