If you live near the US boarder. You can have you items shipped to a post box on the US side like a Mailbox etc. near your closest US/Canada boarder crossing, and you pay a small fee for the box and they receive you items and hold them for you until your ready to pickup your items and you drive across a US/Canada boarder crossing, and when you cross back into Canada you just pay duty on your items and in your luck most electronics items are 0% duty (duty free thanks to free trade) but you might still have to pay provincial sales taxes on items thought but that should be a lot less or a bit less then shipping over the boarder it think, research it for your area. If you stay a min 48hrs you can use your exemption on your items and probably pay nothing at all. Just make sure you bring your Canadian Passport for the one of the easiest ways to cross the US boarder and some money. Read Boarder shopping guide below.
