I really like the way it retained its mild translucence.

Did my own green anodizing just to see if I could, also a lighter Blue than the factory version on the ZT, and a Hinderer clip of course. And I have a wicked edge to do my own sharpening so they have a somewhat polished edge.

Yours is the first ZT I have looked over meticulously now. What a nice fit. What did something like that run you?

That orange pivot is sex.

I am just now noticing you had a write up in the comment of another user. First of all yes it does smell and its going to linger in the house for a day or two. The dye doesnt have any smell to it but the vinegar mixed in water and water slowly boiling out will give you that lovely fish factory smell. As far as color goes. Mine actually only got to this shade after an hour or so because I wasn't so heavy handed with the dye. For my solid parts like foregrips and stocks for AR's I tend to pour extra dye in to get it a more darker tone. I went with less this go around because I wanted to preserve the natural G10 translucence. I find that it will take any color your throw at it though. You could achieve that color of blue with some blue dye and a few drops of pink, and maybe a few drops of brightener. I am confident you could dye the natural g10 pure white if you tried, it takes color very well.
