FC660C Aluminum case?

I know it's a stretch and I don't know nearly enough about topre stuff/things, but is there a possibility that there could be an aluminum case for the FC660C produced?

Any updates on one possibly showing up some day? What is it exactly about the Topre design that ended up being way more work than expected?

Oh boy. We played with this idea for a bit when the 660m metal case showed up, but it ended up being way more work than expected because of how Topre is designed. I hope some of the people who actually worked on this or the HHKB metal case will see this and show up though because they'll have a lot more details than myself.
That said, I sure hope one shows up some day.

How do you do per-key RGB lighting on a Shift V2?

I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".
