This may well be one of my new fave scenicviewstorm pics.
We had storms all over the place last night, and, with adequate site elevation, one could see them and their fabulous lightning from hundred miles away.
This one was about 53 miles north of my location when I shot this.

I wind up spending a LOT of late nights out after t-storms, learning new and better techniques for photographing them without spending like, 5000 bux on a specialized rig for my camera.
Last night was spent working the iPhone X, seeing what it can do more and more.

These are ominous clouds. Did you go out in the storm to get this picture? Thanks for sharing it.

That's incredible. What an experience. You are quite adventurous and fun to follow. Thanks, Jerry
patsfanThank you for saying so. You are very kind. :)
Maybe I will figure out how to start a "TiffanyPoodleslide Does Weather" or something, if only so I don't hog up some of these other threads....
Here's a shot from today;

The adventurous part here was almost getting nailed by a lightning and that rain as I was trying to dash back to The Weather Subaru from the middle of the bean field I was standing in to get that photo.
EEK.
