Bluetooth

I’ve been debating about commenting here or not… but then I see many people asking simple questions and I thought this might help. I am not an AUDIOPHILE or anything like that, I just love music and gadgets. I see how many people nag about new phones don’t having a headphone jacks and how bad bluetooth headphones are compare to wired headphone/earphones, blah, blah, etc. I’ll start by asking if you really love HQ music why would you use your phone to listen to it? I see people in YouTube saying that they can not used their Sennheiser HD650 with their iPhone 7 and I just laugh. Anyway, I use my iPhone everyday to listen music with an Mpow bluetooth receiver or with a Fiio BTR1 bluetooth amp. I use this set up while listing to pop music from Apple Music while RIDDING motorcycle and using my helmet speakers. They are really good BUT I never use bluetooth anything while listening to ELP, Alan Parson or Pink Floyd at home. Then I use my HD650 paired with my O2 DAC and O2 amp or Darkvoice tube amp. And of curse, FLAC files. But here comes the funny part…… I just finished listening A Momentary Laps of Reason and now I’m listening WORKS Vol. 1. What’s so funny about that I hear you asking….. well, I am home and I am using my iPhone 7, FLAC files on the FLACKBOX app. ALSO, I am using the Fiio BTR1 as a receiver/DAC to my O2 Massdrop amp, RHA t20 earphones. Volume 100%, ears blowing up BUT there is no distortion…… Sound is subjective so what I like you might not but we all hate distortion….. I am so amazed that there is not distortion at all….. plenty of base, clear vocals….. I think all this little bluetooth devices are getting there and if you wanna use you phone you shouldn’t complain about headphones jacks. Just make sure you have a well known bluetooth receiver/DAC/amp and you will be fine. If anyone thinks this was useful, CHEERS….. that was the whole idea…..
PLEASe add your comments.

The ES100 from Radsone combined with my LG V20 reversed my stance on bluetooth. The newer codecs really make a difference IMO. I'm leveraging AptXHD at the moment while I wait for 8.0 Android update and (hopefully) LDAC. The most often used IEM with the ES100 is a Noble K10 and it still sounds fantastic.
