Should I spend money on 1 curved monitor or 2 flat monitors?

more_vert
I am wanting to get a better setup, and I was wondering if I should get 1 larger, curved monitor and a cheaper wall mount, or get 3 monitors that are flat, and get a more expensive mount. This is the last step for my setup, and I really want to get an answer from the public.

Depending on what you're looking forward to get out of your display is what will determine your screen type, resolution, size and other feature.
- Are you plan to used more for work? Increasing productivity? Tools for Graphic design? Minor Gaming/Entertainment?
From my experience, as a college student, I only used one 27 inch, IPS, non-curved monitor at 1440p 60Hz resolution; having curved screen or multiple monitors would not increase my productivity and I don't play games. That's why I decided to have only one.
The best way is to go to the show room and see what do you like most out of the two model. Keep in mind that lighting in show room may give you bias results.
Regarding to mounting, I can't say much since I don't mount my screen. The tilt and swivel that build into my monitor stand is more than enough.
My monitor model is ASUS PB278Q 27" WQHD 2560x1440 IPS.
