It is getting so hard to find the correct Tory bits to fit most modern knives that I would like to see someone come out with a complete kit to fit most if not all.

Xm666563Kind of like the Skeleton Key that fits all locks? Would be nice but I bet we'll never see it!

Xm666563Just do an Internet search and you should come a bunch of options. I have the Husky HD-74501U and I had the same issue finding Torx bits for it. I made my own set with 1/4 shank Torx bits. Stick with name brand like Wiha that is made in Gemany an not too expensive. The 75985 Torx Pen Handle (T5 - T15) set should work for you at $13 on Amazon. T6 and T8 are the most popular bits for knives.

Xm666563There's about a million precision driver kits available out there, depending on what bits you need and what quality you want.
Kershaw sells a little driver with common bits in the handle.... But they're made of crappy metal and strip easily
I ended up with this one from Mako/IFixIt that I've been much happier with. Was about $40 when I got it a couple months ago Mako Driver Kit - 64 Precision Bits https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0189YWOIO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_WWwJBb72M52AS Fits everything I've ever found in a knife, and plenty more for computer/phone repair and such
I've also heard great things about Wiha, but at a slightly higher price point
Look around, it's really not hard to find anything from disposably cheap to last a lifetime

KavikFunny thing--I took your advice: "Look around, it's really not hard to find anything from disposably cheap to last a lifetime" and I did! Found a whole drawer full 'em I'd bought a couple of years back and forgot about. Mostly low-end Home Depot stuff, but enough to get me by until I have a good reason to upgrade.
search

Mean time, I'm really dig'n that Mako/IFixIt set you showed me in the Amazon link. I don't exactly need it, but I most certainly want it!
Much thanks!

RayFIt's been pretty good. Got me through some crazy locktite on some t8's and even t6's without breaking a bit yet
