My two favorite flagship phones were the Nexus 1 and Nexus 5. I've owned all of the google phones, including recently two Nexus 6s, a Nexus 5X, two Nexus 6Ps, and a Pixel. I still have the Nexus 5 on my desk, and feel nostalgia whenever I use it. I love the small size, the super bright screen that can easily be read even in sunlight, the fast unbloated android build, the freedom to unlock the bootloader (no secure boot hardware, so Google's safetynet doesn't punish you for unlocking the bootloader). I'd probably still be using my Nexus 5 except for the fact that it doesn't support T-mobile wifi calling or LTE band 12. The Nexus 1 was also a classic--small and felt really high quality, but the trackball kept breaking, which was not so good. I'm using the Pixel now--it has some nice features, but aesthetically, side by side, the screen doesn't look as crisp as the Nexus 5, and the new android 7.1 design just doesn't look as good as the clean and simple android 6 design on the Nexus 5.
ehh... Can't see how zenfone 2 is a flagship with zenfone 3 ultra being out :/
People should seriously consider the OnePlus 3. It blows almost every one of these phones out of the water and at a price of 520 CAD for the specs its mindblowing. The S7 doesn't even compare. VOTE OnePlus 3. You won't regret it. My OnePlus 1 is still going strong after 2 years. Can't wait to grab the updated model

Uh no. That hype train died a while ago, hence why they ditched the invite system for the new phone. They dug their own graves as soon as they ditched CM.

The invite system did give them a lot of hype but they more than backed it up. The phone had great build quality, great software and even better hardware. Ditching CM is not an issue in my opinion. If you really wanted the CM then you can put it on there quite easily and anyone that wants it probably knows how to do it. Oxygen OS is a near stock android experience with features that don't clutter the phone or slow it down. The idea of Oxygen was not to recreate CM but to keep it simple and discreet. That, in my opinion, is a huge pro. Stock Android is probably the best OS you can find.
If someone could add Samnsung Galaxy S7 Active Camo Green. Thanks
Xiaomi Mi5 great specs and look pretty :)
HTC 10? HTC 10.
Hi, i think somethig is missing. The "pro". The smartphone Is called Xiaomi mi 5 pro. I mean the "normal" mi 5 is also a great phone in this price region, but the "pro" is mythical.

albtraum, added it to the site "Xiaomi Mi 5 Pro 4GB RAM 128GB ROM 3D Ceramic Body Smartphone Black" Hope you guys vote on it. Been using the miui OS for some time now and it's been quite good.
5x would be amazing, but I don't think it is a flagship.
Historically, how much cheaper do these phones get when bought through MD? Broke my 5x and would like it replaced, but I'm not willing to drop a ton of cash on it as it isn't awful.
Think about buying refurbished. You can find some reasonable deals on Amazon for a refurb of your choice, typically unlocked, at about 65% of new price. If price is a real barrier, it's a good option.
Ouch. Apple is being destroyed. Even the OnePlus 2 got more votes than the iPhone 6s, and no other iPhone was even nominated.
