1440p displays IPS good for gaming
Own an x34 here. Great monitor, however my model suffers audible coil whine whenever a game is launched. The sound changes in pitch based on the brightness of the screen, but so far I have been unable to eliminate the noise by setting tweaks.
Why are so many people voting for the predator? As far as I can tell the Asus is just as good and cooler looking (In my opinion). And the microboard has a nice barely released VA panel, 100hz 1440p or 144hz at lower resolution and is way cheaper, even though it doesn't have g-sync. I'd rather go for that one than the predator, though maybe i'll just wait for the Samsung CF791 to come to Europe.
