I purchased an Akaso Brave 4 sport cam. It was $89 on Amazon. I have used it on a few backpacking trips and it has worked great. It shoots in 4K and other settings and comes with multiple attachments, including a waterproof casing. I added a Go Pro type stick and some extra batteries for my longer trips. The quality of the footage, even at less than 4K is excellent.
