I have the LG v20 and can run the HD 600 and DT 990 250 ohms effortlessly. Really good and I heard it will get it's Android Pie update later this year.
I definitely want the potato 🥔
why doesn't anyone vote for the russet potato
The HTC 10 just kills it in terms of audio quality. Their implementation is top notch and the phone is rock solid, very stable and a total workhorse. I've had my HTC 10 almost 2 years (back then I was testing for HTC) and I cannot even think of a phone that is capable of replacing it.
The nvidia gtx 1080ti is definitely the best smart phone for any music love.
Despoiler and Yaby1979, get a room already lovebirds!!!
I'm confused... what is the purpose of this poll?
I loved my V10. And now I loooove my V20! Best smartphone for music lovers, IMHO, period!!

I know, right? The V30 is very tempting. But, I wanna hold on to the V20 a little longer; while hoping that LG will find it's way back to making removable batteries. I know that is a pipe dream.

V20 Rocks.
Why is there a pic of the LG G5 instead of the V20?

LOL The G5 is also the worst of the G line. I carried 2 batteries around everyday and that thing still died extremely fast.
The Axon has buggy software. Just check their forums. The V10 is a joke. If listening to music and charging you can hear the charging because they didn't bother isolating the audio circuitry on the board. LG software also sucks. Their 6.0 update was a 6 month disaster of terrible performance. Only fixed by the 6.01 update. Unacceptable for a flagship. I haven't heard the V20, but LG is out of the question for me. I ended up going back to HTC with the 10 model. They started the audiophile phone concept and they have consistently had the best implementations. The kicker, the HTC 10 sounds better than the V10 even before running HTC audio test profile creator. This in spite the HTC 10 not being as good audio statwise. 24bit DAC vs 32bit on the V10.

Again you don't even have any idea what you are talking about and you certainly don't get to end discussion as such. You brought this on yourself by making asinine comments, accusing me of reading comprehension issues when you yourself had them, and simply talking out of your arse. Not to mention you don't seem to realize that A) forums allow responses because that's the point and B) these forums don't inline refresh so when I'm working on my reply I won't see any of yours until my submission.
The Nano LE is the baby brother to the $600 iDSD. It's 1 less DAC chip, less powerful amplifier, and none of the switch based options. It's literally the same core design. It's made for more efficient headphones or IEMs + better portability. That's why it's cheaper. It has to do much less. You talk about an $800 phone, A PHONE, like it is somehow all DAC and amp when it's clearly not. The BOM for the LG audio section is about $50 bucks BTW. My point, which you missed because your reading comprehension, is that my gear is designed by the very same guy that designs the high end gear. It's not farmed to China like your red herring Sennheiser story. It's also not made by unknown LG designers. It's hilarious that you ask " Also what does an ic made by ESS have to do with LG designers. " You really have no idea what you are talking about if you ask such a sophomoric question. Given, I highly doubt you did any designing for any audio company. Any person from an engineering based discipline doesn't come light like you. They don't ask silly questions. They sure as heck would have at least looked up the basic components to know what they were dealing with, but you didn't. When I called you out on it you threw a giant tantrum.
Its actually not. The V30 has a nice DAC chip, but that really doesn't mean much because its the full design which matters.
is anyone interested in LG V10?

Seems kind of stupid considering the LG V20 has been released

Not really. It has good amplification for a phone, but the V20 DAC crushes it.
