Have you seen the SMD Lunar Duo in person? They don't call it the "Backcountry Palace" for nothing. My backpacking buddies call mine the Taj Mahal. It's BIG. We've had four of us (one guy at 6'6" tall) all SITTING UP in it playing cards comfortably during rain storms before. I'll sometimes carry it for just myself as, with stakes, it comes in at just over 3.5lb. My 6'6" buddy has it right now as it's roomy enough inside for him and all of his gear.
I've not yet seen those Nemo tents in person, but at only about .5lb less than the SMD, I don't think I could justify the extra $150. How are they in rain and wind?
Since there haven't been many UL tent drops recently, I figured I would start a poll for it. Maybe we will get some better UL tent drops as a result.
