I picked these up a couple of weeks ago and they are more than satisfactory. Sitting in the same room as 2 children, aged 2 and 4, as they are watching a movie and playing around and I am able to hear them, but very background. I'm able to follow and understand what I am watching with no effort, and quickly stop noticing what little muffled sound makes it thru the headset.
