G-Shock remain a testament to FUNCTION, the form is loved as a result.
I really like all this variety in the Casio world, I do, but one thing they will never get right is the reverse, or negative LCD display. Those are challenging to read under the best conditions, and basically useless in every other.
So sure, I'll take some silly features (I'm looking at YOU barometer!), and I'll even get excited about some stainless or titanium, but I will focus on the FUNCTION, which these days demands Tough Solar so that factory seal stays....well...sealed, and enables other (functional) tricks like Auto EL.
MUDMAN me all day long, but only if the thing is legible, and I don't have to risk contamination every time it wants fresh power.
