The Strafe is the only board on the market with MX Silent switches, as far as I know. They feel really similar to reds, but a little springier - almost like they have o-rings installed stock. I've got the k70, but I'd probably pick this up if the price was right.
I've been looking into buying a mechanical keyboard for some time now because my current one was built rather cheap and is already displaying signs of fatigue after only a year of usage(gaming mostly), so while Corsair has amazing products, they also have amazingly big price tags attached to them that I simply and realistically cannot afford. But if the STRAFE gets q massive drop, I will not only be super excited to buy it but it'll mean that I will use massdrop whenever I want to get a new keyboard.
Why not the K65 RGB? It has the solid aluminium of the k70, the backlighting of the Strafe, and has Cherry MX Red switches, and costs less than both. It doesn't have the number pad, but I've never used that while gaming or typing anyway.
Personally, I bought a strafe about 2 months ago, and although the metal build quality of my friend's k70 is pretty nice, I like my strafe a lot and think that it's build quality is pretty solid even though it's not metal.
I like the rgb one because it looks cool (most important) and has a wrist rest. I'm probably going to go ahead and buy it from a retail shop if they don't drop this soon.
