Buy asus rog strix as there is 1-2 fps drop as comprassion to nitro+ but have better cooling but also keep in mind sapphire nitro is at top in comparission to other models of rx480 in terms of performance.
Sucks that the powercolor rx480 is at the bottom, it's a good performing card and imo best backplate.

I hope you guys know that according to most reviwers the XFX GTR is the best RX 480. you dont belive me?! Check this link out
"No games use more than 3gb" will change in the card's lifetime. More RAM is needed for VR scenarios and higher resolutions (and resolution isn't just about native output pixels, it's about DSR and other rendering quality techniques that only happen *in memory* at larger-than-the-output-buffer sizes). Besides, the 8GB model isn't truly about "bang for the buck" until you do what I want to do -- Crossfire 2 of them and run circles around an NVidia GTX 1080 at 66% of the price.
Heck, 2x RX 480s may very well come close to TITAN X speeds at 40% of the price! O.o
The Sapphire NITRO+ design is crucial though as it alone (so far as I've read) has the extra power input pins necessary to get maximim performance without bending ATX compliance.
cheaper is better. of all reviews not a single fps increase in 8gb no games use more than 3gb its not going to chance. its cant run 4k anyway.

Graphics cards are used for more than just gaming. Also there are games that require 8GB minimum to play.
can we have the 4gb version instead its better

It's probably cheaper. I wouldn't say better.

Apparently their going to start manufacturing rx480s with 8gbs and only use 4gb and 8gb options for rx470
Hope a Custom RX480 becomes available soon. People need more choice here besides Nvidia on a consistent basis. Have no idea why MassDrop constantly runs Group Buys for Nvidia but always ignores any AMD models.
Again the question comes to WHY is that?

Yeah I'm ready for people to vote this up. I think it would be the company's decision to agree that might be the issue though not massdrop.
