I really like the fullsize keyboards with numpad, usb hub, volume knob etc but I'd really really prefer if the keys would have a print on them.
Personally, I'd say go for the fullsize because there's not really anything special about the TKL. The fullsize has the volume wheel and USB 3.0 hub.
Intriguing, but I have to think that 800 units would be tough to move given the current market's alternatives.
We agree that this is kind of steep but we want to be transparent about what we're currently facing. Once we get feedback from this poll hopefully we can have a better idea of how we can approach DAS for this special run.
No real interest in the full-size since I already have both a CODE with MX Clears and a Das 4 Ultimate with MX Browns (and PBT keycaps), but a 4C with MX Clears would be intriguing depending on the price. The normal 4C is overpriced for using cheaper switches and being a step back from the Das 4 in terms of features (USB 2.0 hub instead of USB 3.0, etc.)
I have a WASD Code with MX Clears and a Das 4 Ultimate with MX Browns and I have always wished that I could have the lovechild of both without having to take them apart and put a soldering iron to them.
I hope so badly that this gets enough support to become a reality.
Hey guys, we got together with Das Keyboard because they wanted to do something special for the community. One idea that came out from the last Bay Area keyboard meetup was to do the tenkeyless and full size version of the Das Ultimate in Cherry MX Clears. We approached Das and while this is a definite possibility for the community, it has a MOQ (minimum order quantity) of 800 units. This poll is an interest check to get an idea on whether this is something that the community is interested in and to hear what you all think about a Das Ultimate in Clears.

Wow, 800 units? That's massive.
