Why Astro? They are most overpriced garbage that I ever happened to buy. They sound like crap for what you pay for and the build quality is unbelievably cheap. I would've given them a pass if they just sounded underwhelming, but there is no excuse for the cheapness of the materials specifically the plastic nd how quickly the pair I bought broke. I've had cheaper headsets that lasted much longer.

I know, I don’t like to dwell on bashing stuff I don’t like, but in terms of a poll of recommended gaming headsets, I wish I could downvote the Astros. The A40s would be good for a $50 headphone +$ for the mic, but the A50 was a bloomy, loose bass heavy headset that masked other frequencies, and the A30 was just straight up bad. Bose of the Gaming industry.
Seriously, people, get an HD-558 (or something similar) and a ModMic and be done with it.

Are they really the same headphone? The HD-599 costs $200-ish by itself.

The PC37X is an incredible deal. The PC37X has a slightly different tuning with a bit more treble, but they have the same drivers. some people think the HD 58X Jubilee has the same drivers as the Hd 660S... it does not, they’re a different design and the HD 58X drivers are smaller. But the HD 599 and PC37X have the same sized driver. Sennheiser has spun off it’s gaming division to EPOS Audio, and EPOS is working with the newer GSP series headphones... so if you want the $120 PC37X, I suggest getting it soon (still has a 2 year warranty, and EPOS will keep stock of repair parts).
I have the A40s, they are not that great from my experience. Mediocre sound, the only good thing is the mix amp, and makes really annoying high pitched ringing noises for no apparent reasons at random time intervals.
