This is in the wrong category. I'm surprised no one is monitering this.
Be aware that the Asus monitors have absymal QC. The Acer XB271HU uses the same manufacturer for its panel, and puts a little more QC into it, but there has still been plenty of people complaining about backlight bleeding. No other IPS panels are worth looking at for gaming at the moment.
In terms of TN panels, the Dell S2716DG is probably the highest rated on the list with the best reviews. The Benq monitors are okay, I've heard some dodgy things about buggy circuitry and settings but they're probably a reasonable second choice.
Also be aware of Gsync (Nvidia cards) vs Freesync (ATI cards), they are not cross compatible.
What key profile is this?
IPS or I ain't clickin that shit.

Lmao. After getting my first IPS monitor though I can't imagine playing on anything else.
I have two of the Acer Predator XB271HU. They are amazing displays.
this doesn't even belong here
Really, instead of getting something with terrible color reproduction and abysmal viewing angles, why not just get a CRT? And no, that was not a joke. The CRT I plan on getting is $100 and has plenty of pixels to put a whole 1080p image into the center of its 4:3 screen, as long as you don't mind the letter boxing. The refresh rate is pretty high, too, reaching ~110 hz at that resolution.
