I have created a poll on this kind of boots that I hope you will check. It is the "Dress boots boot with rubber sole by Cobbler Union". I currently do not have any proper pair of boots, and like you I want boots to serve me well when it is wet outside. This boot do look very nice but even though it says they have rubber sole in my opinion Goodyear would be better than Blake when it is wet out side.
These boots may retail for 350 compared with 425 to 475 of Cobbler Union (CU) but with what I can see if it become a drop it can go down to about 290 at best to 330. Yes, the Italian may go down to 200, but won't serve what boots are for as much.
Hope you would take a look at the poll, in my opinion CU's boot looks even better.
