      except that razer is nowhere near as overpriced as apple. the new macbook can be upwards of $3,000, even the blade stealth with 1 tb of storage and a 4k display is $2,000

      I bought that last week. It is good, durable, many slots, pretty good anti-theft and kind of waterproof, but still got a bit wet on super rainy days. And the biggest problems is that it is not foldproof. When you pack 6-8kg stuff in there, it will leave fold marks behind. And when you are sleeping on it when on a trip, it also leave marks on it. A bit annoying because the backpack is sooo expensive. But otherwise, it is the best big that I have ever seen. I really love razer, everything could be expected as perfect.

      and how much does the msi weight? you do realize the razer only weights 2.75 lbs? it's all about portability. maybe weight is not an obstacle for you, then by all means the msi is better for you. However we all have different needs/wants. This laptop fits that niche.
