Spyderco Matriarch, excellent!! But the Big Daddy of this serrated hawkbill sub-genre—the Spyderco Civilian is my choice. That extra 3/4” is a potential lifesaver—equally by intimidation as by any potential damage Inflicted... :)

I have wanted the Dart for a very long time now. I prefer the tanto style over the curved blade for EDC so it would be spot on.

The Fox is my favorite EDC blade. The XT is a cooler upgrade. all these are really nice for self defense.
