I concur with mostly everyone fighting for the HD 800. There is an amazing HD650 discount going on right now everywhere online, you can get an original for not much more than a 6XX.
I believe the HD 800 was also on sale for $1k at some point. If Massdrop can get there or drop it even further, it would probably make a lot of people happy as an endgame.

Exactly. Basically to articulate my point better, this website is for people who want to save money. The easiest way to save money is to buy once, not upgrade 7 times until you get to an endgame headphone like the HD800. I would bet my life on the fact that the vast majority of people going for HD6x0 want to eventually get the HD800. You'll be saving at least a hundred-fifty bucks by going straight to the A HD800.

These are great options, but I have added the HD 600. Almost exactly the same performance, but a lower price tag than the HD 650.
Edit: turns out it was already an option, I will try to remove mine.
