Ya man! i wish i microsoft didnt only sell them to companys.
I've tried samsung vr. It's meh. I bought the HTC Vive and it's amazing. The guy is not wearing his headset correctly if it's blurry. When playing the samsung vr, it just sucked not being able to interact with my own hands. In the Vive, you can crouch down and look under a bed and open drawers and who knows...maybe find a key taped under a desk in a game.

Yeah, but you do realize you're comparing a $100 headset to a $600 headset? As well as comparing 2 different platforms, most games for the Gear VR don't have a lot of money behind them, as well as not having a lot of power from the phone. While most good VR games on steam have quite a bit of money and support behind them, and have access to use a higher level GPU to power the headset.
Still waiting for StarVR... 210° of quad HD goodness though :D

Oh shi*! Sorry about that, for some reason the site didn't show me the comments' timestamps haha
Owning a Vive since mid November 2016 I would highly recomend to wait for the next gerneration of VR headsets or till the screenresolution will be upped by a bit. and !!!DO NOT ORDER A VR HEADSET IF YOU HAVE NEVER TRIED IT!!!
currently Vive and Oculus are giving you 1080x1200ish pixels per eye. (2160x1200 total) Strap that screen ~1-ish inch away from your eyes and put a magnifying lense inbetween and imagine the image you get.. and now you know why neither oculus nor valve marketed their product for movies. However, i am not bashing either of those headsets and for what they are, true first gen products, they are stunningly good, but i am very critical person and to fully enjoy VR i need a better resolution,

Even some cardboard VR have better resolution than those lol. I have a Sony Xperia Z5 Premium with 4K screen and a Zeiss VR One. So the resolution is 3840x2160, which is almost 4 times more pixels.

I know cardboard VRs are no way near the experience of Vive or Oculus Rift. I'm just saying that it's not impossible for them to put a screen with much higher resolution into their next gen products.
What are the chances that big products like these allow Massdrop to sell them.

Oculus funded at Kickstarter... so why not?
