Interesting. I never thought about using a flash as a transmitter and to fire a flash while on the hotshot as well but as Gary Fong mentioned it can be used as a fill flash so not a bad idea to have that as an option. I just think it's a pricey setup and not to mention a bulky/heavier setup if only using as a transmitter. I looked at the Godox V860ii for Sony to see if it can do the same and it wasn't easy to find but it seems like it can do radio master as well from a reviewer on YouTube (with an option to flash or simply act as a transmitter like the Mitros+)
