kind of sad to see how few here are interessted in the Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO :( my soul hurts
How are any of these headphones supposed to compete with the Sennheiser Orpheus? It's not even fair.

Why are they not a true audiophile headphone?
Pretty sure Z Reviews has a sexual relationship with the 2000x's and I'm pretty sure that's a good reason for us to want them too.
I'm hearing a lot about the OPPO PM-3 and the Master&Dynamic MH30. The MH30 is also one of the best looking cans out there along with the MH40. I'm also looking into getting the V-Moda Crossfade M-100 for the great sound and portability.
My cousin has the p7s, they're nothing special especially at their price. I have some audio technica phones I got for the same price or less and they are at least a fair deal better, plus they're massive while the p7s are kinda small and uncomfortable. Also audio technica phones have a nice painless head strap mechanism.

P7s are not great. The audio technicas make my head hurt with their clamp force.
I second that. Tried em out at Best Buy, they aren't even open-backed. Better off to get the HiFiMan HE-400 for the same price. At least with the HE-400 you get what you pay for.

Innerfidelity loves the HE-400. Question is, do you have the equipment to drive them. I don't so I'd opt for the MH30s, M-100, or PM-3.
the p7 are not for audiophiles, they're for rich people
