Since my last post 3 months ago - I purchased 2 of the Nemosine Singularity pens online. I didn't know how voting go with this poll so I thought I would go ahead and order them. Especially when I found them at a good price, compared to many online stores. I bought a clear/demonstrator Singularity with the .6mm stub (14.99) and a black/coral with a fine nib (19.99). I also purchased a clear in purple to give a friend (14.99).
I am more than pleased with them. All three wrote without problems right out of the box. The nibs are very smooth and the .6 stub is fantastic. The Fine nibs lay down a smooth, wet line and as is typical with a German nib, the Fine is slightly wider leaning toward medium. (Extra fine nibs are available) . It is a classic shaped nib with a scrolled design on it. The nib is sturdy but does not feel like your writing with a nail.
I personally find that they write as well as the Pilot Metropolitan and I do like my Metro :) If you like the Pilot Metro, I think you'd like the Nemosine Singularity. It is an added bonus that the Nemosine has a few more nib options, extra fine and the .6mm and .8mm. To compare, the Nemosine is a little lighter than the Pilot Metro, the grip section is larger in diameter and flares out more toward the nib end. Making it more comfortable for longer periods of writing. Some specs. for those who wonder - Length capped: 5.4 inches (137.16 mm) Length posted: 6 inches (152.4 mm) Weight: 0.6 oz. (17 grams)
The clip is sturdy with a good amount of spring to it. The cap posts securely and does not wobble or fall off. Each pen came with the converters as well as a 6 pack of ink cartridges included.
So, yes, I will definitely buy another Nemosine fountain pen. I want to get another with the .8 stub because I really love the .6mm. I would imagine the other Nemosine styles/models, the Neutrino and Fission, write just as well as the Singularity. Both of those models have metal bodies, so probably have a little more weight to them. If you are someone who likes a heavier pen. The Pewter, Nickel and Gunmetal finishes on both those models look nice. Enough that I would be tempted to try the Fission. However, I am still leaning toward another Singularity.
The Singularity is a good looking pen, it is a smooth writer with a wider variety of nib options. I like the slightly more vintage style with the flat top/bottom. I like everything about it and my friend absolutely loves hers as well.
For a low cost fountain pen, I think the quality is very good. No, it isn't a $ 200.00 pen but it looks and writes much better than a 15 or 20 dollar pen.

j-e-gI have several Singularity pens, but there are some construction problems which can be problematic but as mine were purchased from xFountainpen.com they were replaced, The problem is the cracking of plastic around the edge of the cap under the chrome ring. The pieces begin to crack on the edge and ultimately fall away. Again it's an issue I have seen several notes on but they have been replaced and fixed by the vendor. I find that if I feel like writing with a feather, I grab a Nemosine, they are that light, but mostly I prefer a bit more weight and chunk. I have an XF and stub in black and a variety of nibs in black, red, white, blue and green. The green is a bit bright and not especially pleasing to me and it is also the lightest of all of the models and colors.

Kevinsoucy1Kevinsoucy1 - I'll keep an eye on the plastic/chrome for any cracking. I sent a letter to someone this Christmas and they commented on the nice handwriting.... I must admit it is more due to the great stub nib than my writing. I worried that the extra fine might be too scratchy when I ordered them so I went with the fine nib. Because the F and 0.6 stub are so nice, I suspect the extra fine would be a safe bet . I also ordered mine from xfountainpen.com , glad to know they stand behind the items they sell. I have made several purchases from them, good service and shipping time. :) Thanks
