Hey there folks, I just noticed that there isn't much love for classic dynamic mics on here. As a student currently studying audio recording, I have much respect for these mics and their many uses. Keep in mind, they have been around for quite some time, and have been used by many professional engineers to make classic hits. Any one of these mics would make a great addition to any aspiring engineers collection. They will find themselves useful in the hands of advanced engineers as well.

Agreed. Something like the sm57s are pretty much a staple in many studios. the cost, quality, and flexibility for high gain or acoustic recording would make it a solid drop.
