They've said multiple times that Computer Parts don't work on massdrop. There simply isn't enough margin that can be cut.

Maybe someday we'll be able to drop computer components, but it's not possible at this time.

Why would anyone want a 4770K? Its the same price as a newer, slightly faster 4790K (facepalm)

Agreed, you even have to deal with the inferior thermal interface and power circuitry. Literally no reason unless you've got an 8 series board with no way to update the BIOS.
