App store and iTunes gift card
You never know until you try. You would be surprised what folks would do to sell stuff. The idea of the gift card is not so much you have money left over, but you buy more than what is on the card. Thus spending your own cash.
It would depend on the store. Newegg probably wouldn't because you are probably going to spend more than the value of the gift card. With a place like Walmart you will probably end up with around $1.50 left over that could sit around for a while. Of course, a place like Walmart doesn't need 200 more $50 gift cards sold...
LOL dude. It doesn't work on this scale.

That's what I was thinking this is too small to be convincing enough to say amazon. Only on black Friday levels does this truly work.
Would this even be possible.....

There always seems to be a possibility to get a gift card for less than the dollar value on them, from one means or another. I would imagine that the sellers make enough profit that they could afford to lose say $5 on $50 or so, as long as it means that there is a guaranteed stream of revenue to be made for it, and gift cards ensure that.
Whether or not Massdrop can swing this is a different story.
