I had one Oral B toothbrush. The battery doesnt hold enough charge for 2min brushing after a year or so. Also it is not replacable.
I've had a few sonicate tooth brushes. The second one got canned after a little over a year, because despite all our efforts to keep it clean, grunge seeped in between the rubber boot and the plastic case and it became unsanitary. Use the no-rubber Sonicare Diamond Clean now and it is well worth the extra cost.
My dentist recommended me to switch to Sonicare from Oral-B. Oral-B's circular motion was too harsh for me and started to wear away my gum line.
I've been an avid sonicare fan for over a decade. If you get one, get the newer style pop on heads, as the screw on style let water seep in and can get a little funky under the connector.
