I have a few pairs of fjallraven pants, greenland pro, keb and karl. I think the "karl" are my least favorite and least used, the fabric is fuzzy and sucks up dirt (very different from the others, which always surprise me with how clean they stay), and there's something about the cut I don't like. The fabric is pretty strong and durable, but it's no mithril or anything. I've gotten a few holes in the greenland pants, even had branch stubs poke through while carrying wood logs, and the rear groin section is pretty worn, probably from riding a bike, where it rubs against the saddle. The fabric barely stretches at all, so in some cases where other fabrics would just stretch and survive, this one gets pierced or worn out eventually. All in all though, the greenland pro and keb pants are in a class of trousers of their own, the cut, the pockets, the articulated knees, all kinds of small details make them incredibly good pants. Don't forget to get some greenland wax to rub into these if you're planning to use them in varying weather outdoors. It doesn't turn them into full-on rainpants, but it buys you some time.
