So whose brilliant idea was it to keep adding mice until we have a relatively useless poll...?
Roccat Kone XTD Optical is missing!
Razer is an overrated brand that new kids love to play with, I wouldn't use one even if it was free to be perfectly honest.
For better precision on gaming you want optical and my top 3 are, Mionix Naos 7000, Steel Series Rival and Zowie. Not interested in laser at all, I already got a couple.
The G100s is where it's at! Flawless optical tracking and incredibly lightweight (I modded mine to bring it down even further to about 65 grams). Plus it's only $35 to start with. If you need an entry-level gaming mouse that outperforms a lot of more expensive mice, get one of these.
Lets get the Razer Deathadder Chroma vote for it instead of the 2013!
In FPS gaming you almost always want to have an optical mouse to reduce interpolation and mouse acccel. The Zowie FK, SteelSeries Rival and Razer Deathadder are all optical mouses so if you're looking for a mouse for shooters that's gonna be what you want.
WHY WOULD ANYONE NOT VOTE FOR THE PROTEUS CORE?!
Too bad the intellimouse isn't produced anymore :(
when you need to frag hard but run low on GAMER FUEL try fish food
The fish food is tasty
The Mionix Naos 7000 is optical. A really well received mouse and great palm gripped.
I'd love an old version of the FK. The 2014 model uses an infrared variant of the ADNS3090, and it hasn't been proven to be free of issues yet.
These are all laser mice except for the zowie mouse. Optical sensors are much better for fps and gaming.

Deathadder is infrared.
