Can we do the same for the upcoming GM200 cards? the GTX 980 is only the middle-sized die Maxwell, i'm waiting for the big Maxwell die cards.

Hey guys, I'm closing this poll because we generally aren't able to get manufacturer discounts for the community on graphics cards. We'll always look out for opportunities if they come up, but they generally aren't feasible as it is unlikely we will get a price better than that of large computer component retailers such as newegg given the extremely low margins on these products.

Do you guys seriously think the manufacturers will put out a 970/980 at a discount when they were just released and are sold out everywhere? Get real.
They've said before they can't do graphics card drops. Sorry people.
970 is best bang for the buck for 1080/1440p gaming!
GTX 970 G1 is more cost effective than the 980 g1 version, vote the 970 version instead.
