MSI or Gig both are grate brands and the trade offs between the two cards are almost negligible. Also the MSI needs a picture, that's the only reason it has so little votes.
Is the first gtx 980ti from msi red ??
What are the chances the msi 980ti will be a drop? And what do you think the price will go down to? How long has the vote been on for and when might it become a drop? (Sorry I'm new here)

Literally zero chance. Graphics cards and the majority of PC parts have no reason to sell lower than retail since they're never worrying about sales. MD has said this many times, yet there's always a new poll each month asking.
Reference card = best card.

It's reference for a reason. My GTX580s were reference and they're still 20% overclocked 5 years later and absolutely rocking....my power bill. Would love to get another reference-design GTX.
If you are getting a card like this, you are better off going for the watercool-ready version like the EVGA 980Ti HYDRO
I don't care which one wins, I just want these cards to be like 25% off, this would be awesome

Dude 99% off
The Gigabyte has a higher GPU base and boost Clockrate compared to the MSI, they are both excellent, also 3 vents vs 2 vents could run quieter. The price is quite similar therefore i think the Gigabyte would an better investment.

I've seen the shootout of both cards and they're pretty neck and neck. But i have a MSI card now and also before that and they're pretty reliable already been 2 years now on these 660ti hiccups so i vote the 1 most relatable.
Just pointing out that the pictures on the poll aren't necessarily of the actual card. For example, the MSI and Zotac links are a picture of the Nvidia reference card, not their actual GTX 980 TI, which has been very customized and looks very different. From the description, I believe the one MSI actually referencing is http://www.ebuyer.com/715994-msi-gtx-980-ti-gaming-6gb-gddr5-dvi-hdmi-3x-displayport-pci-e-gtx-980ti-gaming-6g

Its a reference version of the card.
