I put in the 598c's because if you're traveling, a closed back will isolate the outside noise. This is not to say the 598's are bad, as I prefer my 518's when I'm at home. But when taking a trip, I prefer 598c's to keep me in my own word so to speak.
The Sennheiser HD 598 are great for the price and sound amazing. Good for gaming and movies but they are a bit low aon the bass. If you want to make them even better sounding, use an amp, it`ll take them to the next level. I recommomend buying the Fiio e10k, it is cheap, good and small. Going to buy them when they are on sale ( maybe BLACK FRIDAY!?)
