I have the k400. I wish I could get a MECHANICAL keyboard this size. with a mousepad. And a 2.4ghz dongle (no bluetooth, I'm watching TV... I don't want to disconnect/connect unpair/pair all the freakin time)
Also an owner of the k400. It's very convenient and works well for when the computer is connected to the TV. I'm a fan of the old fashioned style of having separate buttons for the mouse clicks as opposed to the approach most laptops take nowadays with the whole touchpad being a button. You can do a tap to click as always though.

the mouse button on the top left of the keyboard is useful for light gaming sometimes
I highly recommend the K400 as well. Had it for a year so far and always useful when I use my computer with my TV in the living room. I can't seem to find something wrong on it.
im a user of K400, highly recommend this keyboard. although the touch pad on it is less than ideal.
I have the logitech k400. it's exactly the right size for HTPC use; any bigger would be in the way, any smaller and it would be too small for actual use. the touchpad is conveniently located for one-handed use (assuming you're a righty). it takes 2 standard AA batteries. i have some older rechargeables in there and they last for months, even if you leave the keyboard turned on. i don't know what it's range is like, but i've never been out of range with it so it's not bad. all in all a good pick for the task. and already pretty cheap, too
