what about G551JK? thats a good laptop.
Massdrop is most likely not going to get a discount on Macs. If anything they would only get the Student/Business discount which I think is around 10%. You can get that on your own anyways.

To add to that, Apple doesn't even deep discount their items. Your only option for a "discount" is getting something else thrown in to increase the value of what you're buying, but the price will never be dropped below a certain number.

Deep discounting was a bad choice of words. I do believe that major retailers with contracts get a better pricing than consumers though. E.G. BestBuy.
