Massdrop is most likely not going to get a discount on Macs. If anything they would only get the Student/Business discount which I think is around 10%. You can get that on your own anyways.
Apple only offers deep discounts to their authorized retailers, and even then most items are price controlled. They do this so that their brand is not diluted.
To add to that, Apple doesn't even deep discount their items. Your only option for a "discount" is getting something else thrown in to increase the value of what you're buying, but the price will never be dropped below a certain number.
And on that note, Apple has no interest in working with us. Sorry everyone.
Deep discounting was a bad choice of words. I do believe that major retailers with contracts get a better pricing than consumers though. E.G. BestBuy.
