I love my Brother, and my mom and aunt have the same one from a couple years ago when they still called it BabyLock. It is a great machine!
Just curious, and for discussion's sake, Massdrop staffers...are we sure that either of these machines should be called a mid-arm? I own the Juki 2010q; it does have a slightly larger throat than my other machines. These are hybrid in the sense that they are closer to industrial machines, with greater speed and some other nice features, but neither has the throat space to qualify as a mid-arm. And there's a serious jump in price when you get to mid-arm...$3k to $5k if I'm not mistaken. Wouldn't want anyone to be misled (and I hate to be misinformed, if I am!). Does anyone have a different perspective based on manufacturer literature or specs?
just wondering why a turntable is listed under midarm sewing machine ??
